	We are all sad to lose our 10-year maintenance supervisor, Charles Martindale, but it is an excuse for a party! Mr. Charles has been an integral part of the KDS family for many years, and has kept our grounds in great shape, thanks not only to his knowledge but also his love of KDS. At the end of 2007, he will retire to spend more time on his farm and with his family. In honor of his retirement, Rawles House planned a celebration, and Battles Place hosted a lovely luncheon where we honored Mr. Martindale. Thanks to the adults and to the KDS kitchen staff for hosting such a nice event:
